365 Ways to Shoot a Doll : 4 New Dress Shots

This project "365 Ways to Shoot a Doll" is meant to invoke thought, emotion and conversation. As the project moves along there will references to the abuses women and children live with and through from the hands of government, husbands, fathers etc. BUT it will also deal with the positive effects of love and respect and encouragement.

This week Dolly received four new dresses.

The first three were made by Nanaimo seamstress, Sonja Billard. The burgundy dress was leftover fabric from a skirt, the tiger fabric is from pillows for her grandkids and the green cotton is a piece of fabric she's had for 34 years! Thank you Sonja!

Early in the week artist, Karen Birch came by with this cute little polka dot dress and a box of pastries! Karen lined the dress and attached a green button on the back. So cute. Thank you again, Karen.

If you would like to participate in my project by sewing a dress for Dolly just let me know in the comments and I'll send you a pattern. Thanks.
